Franklyn Christensen, M.D.

Dr. Franklyn Christensen is Board-certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal & Fetal Medicine. He completed his fellowship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of Obstetrics & Gynecology training at the San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico, and completed his medicine internship at the Western Reserve Care System through Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine in Youngstown, Ohio.

Dr. Christensen received his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine, and has served the community in a private practice setting in both Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida since 2001.

Dr. Christensen remains active on both a local and national level through his affiliations with such organizations as American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Medical Association, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Orange County Medical Society. He has also served as a Manuscript Reviewer for transaction of the annual Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine meeting and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002. Dr. Christensen has published dozens of works, including textbook chapters, scientific abstracts and medical journal articles and is a widely recognized leader and authority in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Married for eighteen years to Mari, they have two daughters and an adorable family dog. As a family they enjoy theater, tennis and traveling.
